Numerous endangered species such as the burrowing owl, the swift fox, and the black tailed prairie dog inhabit this vast prairie landscape. You can also watch wild bison a short drive away at Old-Man-on-His-Back Conservation Area.

Eastend, Saskatchewan, home of “Scotty the T-Rex,” has the T-Rex Discovery Center. The center is full of informational and interactive displays. Along with guided tours and a gift shop, you have the opportunity to watch actual paleontologists at function or attempt your luck at obtaining your own dinosaur bones.
